Disturbia

From Mike and Grace’s wedding, Ida and I had to rush to her house to pick up Iya and change outfit. Of course naman, dapat comfy ang outfit for the Rihanna-Chris Brown concert! Upon reaching Fort, we met up with Carla, Cuz, Kat and Karen (aka Josephine). Too bad wasn’t able to meet up with sisses anymore because the venue was super packed already and we got in late na. Truth is, we arrived at the Fort early pa, but since super dooper hungry kami ni Ida (note that we didn’t get the chance to attend the wedding reception), we had dinner first at Claw Daddy. So ayun.

In fairness, the concert was okay naman. Cute pala si Chris Brown, hihi. Kainis lang the crowd was boring. Napa-comment tuloy si Mareng Riri why daw the audience was so quiet! Kaloka. As in feeling ko, in our area, kami lang yung scream and dance to death. Bum bum bee dum bum bum bee dum bum-ing ever!!! And of course, kebs sa deadmatic audience, I went crazy when Chris performed ‘Forever’ (waaaah wedding song ko yan!).

Anyways, after the concert, went straight to Hai (by foot). Palipas traffic and of course, super thirsty na kasi!! Maj and Kai followed. Concert aftermath chika and then one by one our friends had to leave na because of either work or school the following day. Kaloka naman kasing concert, dapat talaga Sunday eh noh?

Anyhoo, Maj, Kai and I decided to move to Ziggurat for a couple more rounds and leftover chika. Left at around 6 in the morning with droopy eyes. I was home by 7 am.

waaah may work pa tomorrow!!

By 9:45 am, I was on my way to work.

Bum bum bee dum bum bum bee dum bum….

FRIDAY

5 September 2008

9:30 pm

Nikki picked me up from RCBC building. Just finished dance class with Ida. We were supposed to head to Ortigas and meet up with Sam for the annual Oktoberfest. Unfortunately, before we even got the chance to leave Makati, Jego informed me na it’s mejo magulo na in Oktoberfest and better if i-schedule nalang ang mga gimik sa ibang place. Thanks for the info, bru. So there, called up Samantha and asked her to go back nalang to Makati and relay the message to Ave. Okay, so where in Makati? Ang gulo ng mga pag-uusap na nangyari. We were supposed to go old-school Ponti but since Ave was told na Hai na lang…o sige fine, Hai na. We all met up at Hai just to witness how packed it was. Sheth. Nik and I super starving na!!!

11:00ish pm

We decided to go to Barcino na lang. Maka wine drama nalang. Since may mga “displays of pagkamaniac” si Ave sa Barcino, we decided (thank God, finally!) it’s Basilio’s na for the night.

11:47pm

In fairness ha, kahit sira ang a/c that night, okay naman. Plus, super sarap the food! I recommend their stuffed fried chicken. I felt love, as in. Nikki had their Spanish adobo…and she liked it too. Okay, so chika chika and of course, drink galore na naman! Sigh. Pero okay lang because in moderation naman. Special thanks to Ina Zamora for the patron shots! By this time, I found out that Sam already told Ave my secret/story. Well, okay lang. At least Ave didn’t judge me…instantly. Che! I’ll remember your promise though…ako ang pro bono mo when I need it na in the future. Goodluck nalang. Mahirap i-panalo ito, darling.

2:00 am

I texted Cuz Mariel because we planned on meeting up that day. Since she’s as kaladkarin as yours truly, game naman si loka. She joined us in Basilio’s pero last order na so we transferred to Piedra for a couple more drinks.

2:52 am

By the time we got to Piedra, all girls na kami! Baduy the boys talaga. As in 1 bloody mary and 1 free drink from Nik lang then we left na. Hello, wala naman mashado tao sa Piedra kasi plus Sam and Nik had things to do pa in the morning. Sam had a 1pm class and Nik still had to finish something for work.

4:00am

So just me and Cuz. We didn’t want to go home yet. Hmm…think think….san tayo pupunta?? Jay-J’s! 24 hrs!! We convinced Kat to follow since tapos na naman her inuman in South area. Punta naman ang loka! Of course my new couz, Michelle, and her friend Randy joined us din. We’re all going to Bacolod come October so of course, puro excitement pinagusapan namin! Gosh….can’t wait!!! Anyways, daybreak na! And Mariel wanted to go home na so we left Ortigas. We still had activities scheduled later that day.

SATURDAY

6 September 2008

2:00 pm

Woke up with a headache. I noticed that’s one of my big problems whenever I decide to stop drinking. The moment I drink again, bigla bigla ako may hangover the morning after. Sheth. Kainis. But shempre headache can’t distract me from the activities scheduled for Saturday.

4:24 pm

Went to Rockwell Club to watch the Ateneo-La Salle game! Ay ayoko na magkwento. Bad trip bad trip bad trip! Pwe!

@rockwell club

6:45pm

Said goodbye na to Cuz. She’s on her way to Tagaytay and ako naman, barops drama. First weekend of the Bar Season kasi diva. So, I met up with Nikki in Powerplant then off we go to Regina Iustitiae’s Headquarters for the 2008 Bar Exams—Pearl Garden (na pwede rin nating tawagin na Arl Garden dahil sa defective nitong sign).

7:40pm

I dropped off my stuff lang sa family room. Okay, ano ang family room? I booked a room kasi for the first and last weekends ng bar for me and my kids (apos included) or kung may visitors man ako na ieexpect (pero parang wala namang ganon). Hence, family room. Anyways, beso dito beso jan. Then I invited Pat to go out and have dinner with me. I was craving Japanese!! Solid hungry na talaga!!!

8:46pm

The first Jap resto na pinasok namin…failure. Funny story pero next time na. So napunta kami sa Gyobou Yakiniku along Adriatico Street. Infairness, loved the food. Raw beef. Yay.

10:11pm

Had to be back @ the Pearl since I still had to finish some work and shempre salubong pa for my daughter Ann’s birthday.

After the shebang, hang out and chika chika with some of the sisses. Good thang, I got to hang with my apos. The whole time ay tawa galore lang kami. By the way, gay indie film pala ito. Title? According to Eunice, Badingan daw ang title. I had to utIlize Google para lang malaman ang title dahil ayaw ako seryosohin ng bruha. Ang Lihim ni Antonio. I must say, tragic film. Az in. I need to watch this again. After that, iba ibang video clips pa at kakaibang tawanan then I accidentally fell asleep around 7 in the morning.

SUNDAY

7 September 2008

9:17am

By the time I woke up, wala na ang barristers. I wanted pa naman to have breakfast with them so I can greet Ria rin a happy birthday. Anyways….since I badly needed na my iced coffee, I went to the hotel resto alone. Sakto for my morning M&M (muni-muni). Either tulog or taking a bath na kasi ang mga sisses na naiwan sa hotel at that time.

alone time

11:35am

Busy time again. We needed to get to Ceralicious (Regina Iustitiae Taft HQ) to support our barristers and of course, to hang out ulet with the sisses.

stresss...

2:30 pm

I was on my way to Trinoma to meet up with someone. Got home super tired by 6:30pm. Since last leg na ng Will & Grace marathon ko….that’s all I did until I finally fell asleep.

What a weekend….na naman.

My 25th: two months worth of celebration

28 May 2008:

Happy Birthday to me! But really, no time to celebrate because my Tanduay stockholders’ meeting was scheduled that same afternoon. Of course, had to prepare pa! So I headed to the office right away, (wearing a red dress of course!), since I still had to prepare the materials for the meeting. Middle of the meeting, my thoughts began to wander….hmm…I don’t feel like it’s my birthday. Is it really my bday? Bakit ganito, puro work pa rin! Anyways, after the meeting, Atty. Pesayco (Tanduay Corsec) presented her birthday gift for me—Photo op with Kap!! I didn’t know what to say. I’m a super fan of Dr. Tan so naloka talaga ako with this birthday gift! And let me tell you, he’s really nice. As in chika talaga. I had to say goodbye after a while kse wala na ako masabi and my gosh, super red na ng face ko (match na sa outfit!). With that photo op, grabe, feel ko na ang birthday. Brought my happy feeling with me to good earth with Ida (our Tanduay/Eton/Allied Bank girl), Caron and Grace (officemates) for a couple of birthday rounds. Hihi! Bago pa malasing ng tuluyan si Ida, I headed back to QC because I promised my mother we’ll spend my birthday sa MB (Music Box). Well.. had so much fun. Truly, it was a happy birthday for me!!!

30 May:

I had to finish my work early that day. I promised my bees we’ll have my belated happy birthday dinner together. So Tammy and Ann picked me up sa office. Met up with Hazel and Ange (escorted by Dennis) at CafĂ© Bola in Greenbelt. Had dinner agad kasi ang press release ng mga anak ko, si Nicka nasa meeting pa so after we eat, head back to good earth nalang for a couple of rounds with my busy Nicka. Haha. They invited my lawschool batchmates and other sisses to good earth. And my hijas even gave me flowers..lahat sila ha! Super surprised. I’m the luckiest momsy talaga…as in! I can’t thank my bees enough for the surprise!

surprised momsy

1 June:

I woke up late as usual. Naman, Sunday kasi. Anyways, spent more time in bed as I was determined to finish Amy Tan’s “Saving Fish From Drowning” (take note: ilang months ko na binabasa di ko matapos tapos!). Grrrr…diba? I haven’t taken a bath yet! How can I face someone with a legal query? Anyhoo, as if I can do anything! Hala, the moment I got out of the room, nakita ko na ang mga loka kong college kabarkada (Dianne, Ida and Elay complete with cake, ballon and happy birthday smiles)! Well, nung mejo nagsink in na ang surprise, took a bath and we headed to trinoma for a couple of drinks and to watch Sex and the City. Thank you, my angels! I wasn’t expecting talaga that surprise (e surprise nga!)

bagong gising

6 June:

Ruby’s Homecoming Party. Ayan umuwi galling sa States ang lukaret. Shempre welcome back ang drama ng Santugon. Kain at inom sa Kroc in Greenbelt. We stayed inside the resto kasi eh so I had to go out pa with Poma for a couple of puffs. When we came back ang Maco at Alecz nagbubulungan na. And they gave me birthday ice cream na may birthday candle.

Haha. Joint shebang with Marge (bday: July 13) kaya ang title ng party ay Never too late, never too early. But really, mejo obvious it was just an excuse to throw a party! Haha. Well, had so much fun! Invited the sisses and of course dahil Santugon din itong si Margarita, anjan ang ibang mga goonies. Thanks to those who came and made the joint shebang a fun fun party.

"green meets blue"

The party never stops! May Halloween party pa for the kids @ bahay ni maria come October!!!
