Halloween/Bridal Shower

As mentioned in previous blog entry, I was tasked to organize Grace’s bridal shower. After all the stress and taranta, almost everything ready na. Invites..check! Budget…check! Victoria Court Austin Powers room…check! Program….check! Food orders….check! Drinks….check! One thing na lang, how do we make sure CGY attends her own shower? Background: Grace is the type kse na ayain mo sa gimik then she’ll say ok I’ll follow may daanan lang ako but she won’t show up. May mga ganyan at times. Basta bottomline, it’ll be difficult to make sure she attends a random gimik ekek. So anyways, as discussed with our managing partner, will make it appear na lang na we have an office Halloween party para she’ll go talaga. And anyways, fun din naman talaga to have everyone around during the shower (even the boys! para unique!). So ayan na!!! costumes…check! Bride….check!

Grace had no idea that it was a Halloween party/bridal shower! She was one of the people pa who got to the venue early ha. So talagang drama to death na Halloween party lang ang meron. Then during the program that’s when Caron and I (the emcees for the night) divulged the surprise!! She was really surprised! Yay!!!

with the bride

Games, fun, singing, drinking and some macho dancing from our messengers followed!! Good thang it was a blast! Everyone had super fun. Yay!

we wish you all the best!

And I found myself telling Ida….pucha, party planning ata ang calling ko ah!

Wednesday Is My New Monday

With all the shebang going on, I decided I have to penalize myself a bit. I used to be irritatingly responsible and disciplined. And lately, I’ve been noticing that I’m starting to lose control. Not the crazy kind of course. I think I’m too old for stuff like that. (Ok, not too old, so simply ‘old’ for stuff like that). My ‘starting to lose control’ means the following: Flying here and there; drinking again whenever wherever kahit Sundays sometimes (hello Ida, Cuz and Little Pok). Anyways, so I chose to chastise myself kahit konti lang. Sakto I had tons of work to do so I’ve tools for punishment.

I told myself ‘your week should start Wednesday afternoon’. As in from Monday until the pre-designated start of my week, it has to be all-work and no play! (Ohmy, I can’t believe while I’m writing this, I’m checking memory if I was able talaga to follow!!)

True enough, all work! I was super stressed. I have short attention span. I get bored easily. Boredom stresses me out! Work simply kept on pouring and I had no choice but to lay off social life a bit in order to fulfill my responsibility as an associate in the law firm (haha, may ganon pang drama!). And work was not simple work. Our managing partner also tasked me to organize a bridal shower for CGY, a fellow associate. Fun diba! But not so pala…imagine, I had roughly 3 days to prepare the shower. And imagine nalang, lawyer/party planner ang lola!! I was drafting legal memos etc. alongside chitchats and haggling with banquet specialists!

I was more than glad when Wednesday afternoon came. Trinagar had a meeting in my office so after said meeting, we met up with Jang. The three of us had lunch and made chika just like lawschool days. I miss those crazies so much. Come dinner time, I met up with Ida and Eliza. Catch up with Eliza since she’s been outta the loop since she entered law school.

I’m so glad my week started already! Hectic Fun has just begun!!!

Not Quite a Rockstar

So from the airport I headed straight to the office. Tons of work waiting to for me. Monday pa naman! I tried my very best to finish early so I can go home. I obviously needed sleep. But as additional work beckoned, I had to stay at the office until around 8 in the evening. The sweet Ate Pok kept on texting to check up on me. Kasi nga she knows I was still working despite lack of sleep. Anyways, as much as I wanted to just crash upon reaching home, hindi pwede! Pey, my sister, had a birthday party at home that night so I had to socialize a bit. By 11pm, thank goodness, I was ready to zzzz.

Come Tuesday, I was still trying to finish bits and pieces of work assigned to me. Ayoko nga mag pile-up! I also spent the day talking to Maj and Ria. We planned to meet up next weekend, so we were trying to adjust our schedules (more of their skeds actually, because super set na ako with this plan of meeting up with the two girls for chika). After work, I met with Ida for dinner and a few drinks. I needed someone to talk to. Basta ewan ko ba, I just needed company.

I wasn't supposed to report for work Wednesday
because I wasn't feeling well. But I can't miss work. No, not being a workaholic...just trying to be responsible. A contract I was drafting needed to be sent to the client within the day so I had to work on it. Shoooots. I was major tired already, but I promised CEL I'll go with her to Fashion Week. And so I went. I should have enjoyed that, pero nyets, major tired lang talaga.

By Thursday I found myself texting Monica, apologizing that I can't make it to the Thursday Gimik Night she organized. I needed sleep badly. Hindi ko pa nababawi the zzzzs that I missed during Bacolod trip. Thursday was also the day Marge and I decided to just cancel our Halloween Party for the kids @ Bahay ni Maria scheduled Saturday sana. Basta mej nagkagulo sa pagschedule nila sa Bahay and so I just told them we'll resked kesa mataranta lahat. To a certain extent, that cancellation was a good thing. I'll be able to go home to Bulacan Saturday. I'll be able to rest. Weeeeeeeee.

Friday was all-work the entire day. I was determined to finish everything! I was too scared that the chance to rest might make me sick. I've always been like that. I mean, if I'm sick and I allow myself rest, all the more I get sick. Basta parang pa-deadma ng pagod works for me. But I can't take it anymore, I badly needed rest. Anyways, during pizza break with the rest of the firm, MLR said we should just move the firm vacay from November to around January. Weeeee!!! That means one free weekend for November! I thought that announcement will break my heart, but actually mas natuwa ako na January na lang. Visual image pa lang ng November calendar ko, I'm natataranta na!

I was ym-ing with Little Pok and texting with Carla for the Friday Bacolod Aftermath. I was also ym-ing with Monica and texting with Marge for Sam's drinking party scheduled the same night. Don't get me wrong, super excited ako to meet up ulit with all of them, but in my head alam ko after tonight I'll be super poooofed. Anyways, I was able to go to both G's.

Home by 4am. Pooooofed. Rest badly needed.

Party like a movie star na nga lang.

Warla and the Philip Morris Event

Philip Morris Event @ North Club in Bacolod. By invitation only, yan ang rule. So we were all thrilled because we were given invites to the party. We were thinking, how saya naman of this vacay, we get the chance pa to attend this kind of event. Coming from Moravia for Marie’s gig, we all decided to meet up nalang sa North. On the way there, I was with Cuz, Meg, Ping and Carla. All the others kasi, nauna na. When we got in, Kat texted that they were at the VIP lounge. So I asked, how do we go there? Kat asked for us to wait because si Mor is on his way down to get us na daw. We saw Mor, but I don’t think he saw us. Why? He was busy talking to the bouncers who were pushing him. I was wondering na, what’s goin’ on kaya? Mor went out of the VIP lounge then he started naman talking to this girl. By that time, mejo exhibited na sa face ni Mor ang pagkainis. So, pinuntahan namin si Mor. Sa wakas, he noticed us na! We went out of the venue muna (as in sa road ha) so he can make kwento what happened. The girl claims daw it's her party so walang magagawa si Mor to go back to the Lounge.

Sa super pagkainis, we all decided to leave the event nalang then head back to Sorrento. The plan was to go back lang inside as in quickly to properly say goodbye to the rest of the gang and tell them that we’re drinking nalang someplace else. Okay, so on with the plan. We were all inside ulit except for Meg and Ping. I was nagtaka of course! They were refused entry daw by this girl (as in the same girl Mor was talking to earlier). So shempre, I politely asked the girl ha,

Trina: what’s the problem?

Girl: I can’t let your friend in.

Trina: Ha? We were inside na kanina pa. We just went out to get something.

Girl: I can’t let her in because she’s wearing flipflops.

Trina: So?

Girl: We’re trying to control the crowd. We don’t allow flipflops.

Trina: Like what I said earlier, we were inside na kanina pa. And she was wearing the same flipflops when we got in kanina, so bakit now, you won’t let her in?

And there, this girl, with a very sarcastic facial expression and tone ever, told me E nahuli ko sha eh. Pasensya Ka!

I snapped. But I was still trying to be as composed as ever. I walked slowly towards her, stared at her and then ayan na ang mga maaanghang na salita lumabas na….pero in a composed manner pa rin ha. Then I tried my very best na mag walk-out nalang. I know that if may sabihin pa kasi sha and marinig ko, baka hindi na maganda ang kasunod. I was not drunk then so I really had control pa. At that time, i realized it was better to just go away.

We left the place na. Salamat!!!!

And so I found out who she is. Okay fine, so she may have organized the event. So what?! That doesn’t give her the right to say This is my party! Ah talaga? Look, Philip Morris had an event obviously for promotions/marketing purposes. What a marketing strategy naman if their staff would treat guests that way, right? I know, there are rules. Please lang, I know rules. I may transgress itsy bitsy pieces of rules every once in a while, but I know rules and appreciate the same. I mean, fine, okay, rules about black or blue badges before you can get in, no flipflops allowed, etc. OKAY LANG YON! What infuriated Mor and I was the fact that she was so rude to us. There’s a nice way of saying things, hija. She could have simply said, I’m sorry Ma’am, we have rules here, we don’t allow flipflops, maybe kanina, the one in charge just didn’t notice that she was wearing flipflops that’s why she was able to get in. Pwede namang ganon! You don’t have to be rude to get your message across. And when Mor asked what he can do to be able to go back to the lounge as his friends were still there, she could’ve said nalang, "I’m really sorry sir, there’s nothing we can do about it" instead of saying Nothing, because this is my party!

I just hope people in marketing and promotions do realize that the way they deal with guests/customers matters! I don’t care if she’s an executive. She was so rude to us. Baka mas okay pa to deal with yosi vendors than to deal with her. Aynaku girl, I just hope we don’t cross paths ever again…haynaku if ever man, Pasensya Ka!

Kaingit!!!!

Party Like A Rockstar: Bacolod Day 3

Thanks to the alcohol-induced drama (I love you, Lil Pok), Ate Pok and I had to stay in the bathroom for more than an hour. As in we had to drink there! Initially, we were with Cesar, but then he gave up na and left us. When Ate Pok and I realized it’s almost 7 in the morning, we decided not to care anymore! As in tulog na and kevs sa drama. Hihihi. Woke up at 1 in the afternoon because LA was trying to call me up. She called simply to ask “O, kamusta naman ang pakikipag tarayan mo raw kagabi?” Hahaha. Bruha! Anyways, I wanted pa sana to go back to sleep but nyets super hungry na. Had brunchenda at 5:30pm! We went to Bob’s! Loves loves the Sate Babe!! Then pa-culture effect muna kami and break from alcohol so we went to Ruins for history appreciation and picture taking. Super ganda ng place ha! Az in.

pic taking sa Ruins

After Ruins, we freshened up a bit sa hotel then went to Time Out for dinner. Super bad trip lang they didn’t have the sikat butterfly ribs! So until now, I still wonder, ano ba yang butterfly ribs na yan?! After Time Out, we went to Calea for the famous cream puffs! Kaloka major sarap. Bigla ko naintindihan why Larry was so excited! Parang it had ice cream instead of custard as filling. The custard naman, you can find under the cream puff. It was so delish so super shocked ang lola mo when I found out P27+ a piece lang! Too bad mejo mahirap itransport to Manila ang creampuff at baka juice na ito pagdating pa lang sa airport.

@ Time Out

Calea Creampuffs are the best!

After Calea, last night-out na for me as I needed to be back in Manila the following day. My plane leaves at 6:30 in the morning so malamang, di na matutulog. Gosh, everyone couldn’t believe na I’ll do that talaga, but no choice eh. Inngit talaga because all of them will head back to Manila Monday pa!!! Anyways, we went to Mushu and then to Briehz. Feeling despedida party ko! At pasimula na ang autopilot sequence. When my friends realized na almost 4 in the morning na, we headed back to the hotel because I had to be out of the hotel by 5 in the morning or else maiiwan ako ng plane.

What happened after that, you can read about sa ibang blog ko. Mahirap na. Hihi.

In summary….Bacolod was doooooper fun!! Thude!!! EEeeeekkkkk. Sheth. Ganyan. Will definitely be back!!!

But for now…..the voice in my head keeps on saying…”dinagyang, dinagyang, dinagyang…Paging Mor!! Dinagyang!!”

So Lovin' It : Bacolod Day 2

By Day 2, dumating na ang mga Kulasa (Carla, LA and Karen) at ang boyfriend ng Kulasa (Larry). Had brunch at Chicken Haus. Super sarap and cheap lang ng food. Super dooper suliiiiit! Chicken Inasal at P50ish ha! Then went na to Lacson to watch the festival. Very festive ang mood (duh, festival nga!) and nag enjoy kami ni Carla sa street food. 5 pesos yata everything so death by mango shake, cotton candy and skrambol ang drama! Kakaawa lang yung ibang dancers sa festival. Imagine ha, the clothing full of borloloy then the mask pa na I’m sure very bigat. Most of them faint and dapat ma first-aid. Kami nga nagwwatch lang napapagod na, what more the people who actually take part diva!

After the festival, we were all super tired so we went back muna to the hotel. Ayan, I met new friends na. Vanessa, Jeff, Cesar and Mor. They were all super nice. Imagine ha, less than 10 minutes pa lang since introduction tralala, Mor extended na invitation for Dinagyang festival in January (he hails from Iloilo kasi). Will go, will go!!!

making new friends

I was planning to sleep pa. Of course, had to prepare for another drinking spree that night. But noooo, Cuz arrived at the hotel na so ayan, no choice! We went to Italia for a very nice dinner. Yummy Italian food. Then, we went to Moravia for a couple of drinks. After that, we headed to North for this Philip Morris event. Oops…that’s another story (watch out).

Dahil super inis kami ni Mor with what happened sa North, we simply decided to go back to Pepe's. Then tuloy nalang ang fun sa hotel!

I love Bacolod!!!

Go Wherever! : Bacolod Day 1

I left for Bacolod 17 October 2008. First time ko sa Bacolod and first time of course to experience Masskara Festival. Well, truth is I was a bit nervous about the trip. I mean, there were going to be a lot of people in our group. According to Cuz, around 20 daw, and more than half super strangers to me. Si Cuz na yata yung super close ko sa group and she’ll fly to Bacolod pa daw 18 October ng around 6pm. So goodluck, social skills. Mejo kaladkarin lang kse talaga ako, addicted to vacays and all, bigla bigla nalang ako nag yes to the Bacolod invitation! Hihi.

Super fun. I mean, despite the fact that si Cuz came in late, super nag gel naman everyone who went. Okay naman, because some of my highschool schoolmates were going to be with us naman pala. That night, Meg and Ping were with us na. And of course, there’s Little Pok Kat and Ate Pok Michelle na kadikit ko while pakalat kalat kme sa mga kalye sa Bacolod (Street Party pala sa Bacolod pag Masskara).

Super inom lang and bar hopping for the first night because we arrived late na rin (around 7:30pm). Major thanks to Honey Lopue for being our tour guide! Thanks for all the sweetness and for introducing us to your Bacolod friends. She brought us to this place called Palapala sa 18th Street! Kaloka ang food, super sarap. We didn’t even had the chance to take pics as we all had to dive in the moment we saw food! Must try: Grilled Blue Marlin (super juicy and tasty, kahit wizelle na mag sauce!) and the Sizzling Scallops (never really was a fan of scallops until that night!). After dinner, ayan na…..watched the electric parade and then bar hopping na. Went to First Pab @ Sorrento, Mushu, 21, then went back to Sorrento again (this time @ Pepe’s). Last stop na yung Breihz. The rest is history.

Dinner @ Palapala; ang pag-akyat sa stage para magpa-star;
the electric(al?) parade; bar-hoppers!

Happy Birthday Leonora!

16 October 2008. Mother once again had a birthday celebration. This is the fourth na ha because she had a birthday salubong at MB, had a dinner party at home and had birthday lunch at Golden Acres. Anyways, this fourth party is like no other as this was for my friends who greeted her during her birthday. Shempre na touch si loka and na-pressure na magpa-dinner/inom for them (thanks to Trina Garcia, making kulit Mother for Korean Beef). Mother had her own special guest as well, Beauty, who made the party more exciting! Benta ang bakla sa mga friends ko and even invited us to MB! Hihi. Super enjoy and death by laughter.

Mother with her special guests

Special thanks to my friends who came-- Bej who took a break from her workaholic life just to go to the party; Dianne na I’m sure nagbreak lang from studying; Ida, na nagpretend pa na she’ll arrive late; Poma, na may pa-surprise effect can’t make it daw kuno drama; and of course, Jang and Trina na nagkandaligaw ligaw pa and nagskip ng lunch para ma enjoy ang Korean Beef! Grabe, work day the following day ha, but they still went. Touched ang nanay ko take note! And see you all sa MB sabi ni Beauty!

tsk tsk....goodluck, Trin.
Beauty, Jang and Trin

p.s.

Beauty slept over (as usual!) and before going to bed, he/she told me “alam mo, I like your friends. Parang sobrang bait nilang lahat.”

Aba shempre! Kaya nga pinagparty ni mother yang mga yan eh!

Orosa-Nakpil, Malate

The book was well-written in Filipino--at F na F ko ang pagkadescribe ng author na si Louie Mar Gangcuangco sa Orosa-NakpilThe music, the people, the quests for friendship, bookings and sometimes even true love. Bigla bigla akong nagkakaflashback ng Malate days hanging out with my Tita, Dra. Babes Ilarde-Nazareno and my first gay friend, Joel De Mesa (Viva! The Library Foundation days!)

While the book centers on the life of homosexuals, it touches upon facets of life that heterosexuals can relate to. The challenges and difficulties of accepting one’s true self, finding and losing people and everything that comes in between. At ang pagpapakatotoo sa huli. Hindi naman ‘yan pangbakla lang diba. The book touched me in many different ways. Napakilig din ako ng bida na si Dave sa kanyang love story. I can’t believe I was up until 5 in the morning, trying to finish the book. Hindi ko kinaya ibaba ang book dahil kilig na kilig ako sa search ni Dave for true love. And since doctor wannabe si Dave sa book, I was able to relate din kasi I was once a lawyer wannabe.

Another thing that I loved about Orosa-Nakpil, Malate is its social relevance. Gangcuangco, through his book, did not simply show the readers the party scene in Malate or how homosexuals live and love. He aimed to educate the readers about AIDS-HIV; how serious this virus is and how recklessness can change your life and the lives of people who love you. Sa isang banda, maski ako nataranta. Hindi naman sa high risk ako! Anuva, kulang na lang ay maging halaman na ako! Ang point ko lang, it’s true that not a lot of people know about AIDS-HIV. Gangcuangco pointed out through Orosa-Nakpil, Malate that until now, there are people who think that AIDS can be acquired solely through sexual intercourse. The book truly was an eye-opener that everyone should be informed about AIDS-HIV. Go AIDS Awareness!

Double thumbs up! As in. Siguro nga lang kelangan ng konting pag towel-dry sa ibang eskena dahil may pagka madrama. Parang lagi nalang umiiyak si Dave. Pero kerri lang, maganda pa rin ang pagkasulat ng libro. It educates and entertains at the same time. Gangcuangco, through Orosa-Nakpil, Malate, was able to showcase life, love and what we can do to be able to live and love longer.

Award!

p.s.

This book made me cry. And for a lot of reasons.

Weekends are way too short!

You can blame it on the fact that work is stressful most days. Weekends are supposed to be slices of heaven. But sometimes lang it's kakainis that everything gets scheduled on weekends so ang weekends nagiging super full, to a certain extent, nakakaharass! And it makes me feel so bad sometimes that even 2.5 non-working days (half of Friday included) can't accommodate all of my plans. Take for instance, last weekend. I still feel bad until now...waaaah.

Friday I was supposed to meet up with an aunt to discuss some land issues; finish a piece of report that needs to be ready come monday; meet up with Big Pok Couz and the rest of the boys and girls @ Cav; and head to MB for Mama's birthday salubong. Kainis because I was not able to leave the office early. So ayan, resked na the meeting with my Tita. I was still trying to finish the report! I had to tell Couz I can't na make it to Cav. So there, at least naka-abot pa ako ng MB for Mama's shebang. Well, i was late. but i made it before midnight naman! Odiba, for satuday 2/5 tasks lang nagawa ko!

with Mama's gayness army

Saturday was a busy day as well. Mama prepared a mini birthday celebration for everyone at home. Of course I can't miss that. I was supposed to get a haircut and a massage that day before I head to Ponti for Carla's birthday bash. Kainis nga I can't stay that long sa Ponti because I promized Eeza we'll go to Katips with some of our lawschool batchmates. Grabe nakakaharass, wizelle na sa massage. Haircut na lang coz running late na! I got to Ponti around 10pm then had to leave before midnight. Super heartbreak! All of my long-lost highschool friends were there pa naman! Okay, so Katips na for the night with lawschool batchmates! Fun, fun night!! All the chismis and kulitan. So for Satuday, 4/5 tasks!

Sunday I was planning to work, watch a movie, and attend Mama's Sunday Celebration @ Golden Acres. Since pagoda philippines from Friday to Saturday, I was able to attend lang the celebration @ Golden Acres. Had fun with the oldies. Kahit mejo nakakadepress, of course. After that, balay na then slept until 6pm!! Sunday was a sad 1/3!

Gosh. weekends can be super stressful! Tapos monday na agad! Sigh.

V @ T

It’s Poma’s turn to throw a birthday shebang! The last minute party rule was this: you’ve to wear something you’ve actually worn during the 90’s! Well, considering that my official closet is in Bulacan, I had a hard time thinking of what to wear. Super lucky (or not) that one of my Gavin Studio pants is here in QC Closet pala. I was mejo hesitant lang talaga to wear it (may pagka Boyoyong-inspired ito) as in read: leather pants, big polka dots and take note: red-green-yellow dots! Stop light kung stop light ang labanan. Buti nalang not a lot of pics were taken na kita ang pants. Hihi. Anyways, the celebration was at home (aka 3C) so we super enjoyed Tita’s yummy treats! Beef with corn, beef with corn, beef with corn!! At nagtake home pa talaga ako! Haha.

Super fun night! Happy Birthday, Sweet!! Double buzz!

Eastwood Night

Went to Eastwood last Friday with Caron and Ida for Aiza’s album launch. Aiza is highschool kabarkada to Ida so we went with her to support Aiza. Well, I personally think that she has a good singing voice kaya nga kairita that we arrived late so we didn’t have the chance to stay dun sa malapit sa stage. We stayed na lang in Seafood Island and had dinner na rin. You can hear pa rin naman the singing pero shempre nakikipagcompete ang sounds ng katabing bar.

Anyways, after the show, few drinks muna at Agave. In fairness, one round lang for me that night! Maybe because kakairita ang pagkabagal ng staff. Honestly, not too much people around naman that’s why di ko talaga nagets mashado why super tagal ng pagdating ng drinks! I was so mad. Never ako nagalit ng ganon ng dahil sa matagal na serbisyo! I had to wait for 30 mins for my margarita. The funny thing is, sabay sabay naman kami nag-order. Irits suvver!!!

Well, remove the Agave service in slow motion eksena.... it was a fun night naman!

Happy Birthday Benjamin!

Can't get enough of Bugays talaga so spent time with them na naman last Tuesday, 30 September 2008! Birthday din kasi ng bruhang si Bej so of course celebration galore! So why, Benjamin? Trivia lang: According to my BFF (Dennis P.), Felix actually thought that Bej's real name is "Benjamin". Yun lang.

Happy Birthday Benjamin!!
:)

The Lane

After salubong, went back to Pearl to have dinner, then spent time with some of the sisses @ The Lane. Was laughing real hard for 3 straight hours (I think!) with Eunice, Ces, Diale, Hazel, Nicka, Sam, Chris and the other sisses who tried so hard na isiksik ang sarili nila sa The Lane. Pila nalang muna until the buzz or be closey with any of the part-owners (take the case of my daughters Nicka and Hazel, nasa prime spot pa)! Dooper fun night! But had to leave na because Lola Dev and I still had to go to the Patajo celebration @ Quatro.

Can’t wait for “The Line” and “The Lone” to finally open!

Salubong 2008

Had fun during salubong (28 September 2008) since I was able to spend time, not only with sisses, but my closest friends as well (Trinagar and Janggoy, Momsy, Ave, Lola Dev aka. Mareng Mens, Siela and Bunny). Kainis lang that the salubong was mejo tahimik and not as exciting as past ones. Felt lucky tuloy that for our salubong last year, we didn’t have to deal with mga no-permit eklat. So last year, sarado ang taft, ready to cheer ang lahat paglabas mo pa lang ng DLSU, and of course, wet and wild with overflowing beer! But anyways, wag nang choosy, hindi mo naman bar yan eh.

Congrats to those who took the Bar Examinations! Special congrats and yahoo to my Sisses and Big Daddy Taps!

FoodTrip

So I went to Bulacan 2 weekends ago (27 September) to take part in Tatay’s birthday celebration. It’s his 75th! Thanks to everyone who went and I’m still waiting for Carla to post the pictures that were taken during the event.

Anyways, I can’t stay that long sa party because I still had to finish work. Super in a hurry na to finish because super due na the work and I still had to head back to Manila for barops purposes. Well, last weekend na kasi nun for the bar! Anyways, while adorning my work with finishing touches, I received a text from Pat. Sila Kiko daw wants to go Spiral that night, are we game? Hah! Yan ang foodtrip diba! Anyways, I said yes despite the fact na lagi naman ako lugi sa mga buffet buffet ekek na yan. I don’t know, pero always ako surrender mode when it comes to mga like that (as in, no more na for me, super busog already). I guess I really just wanted to spend time with ex-schoolmates (now fellow lawyers...eeeeeeeekkkkkkkk ggoooosebummmps!) especially the Bugays, I missed them super!

So there! Foodtrip Foodtrip! And chika about Apprac reviewers, Bej’s big calculator, office bloopers, UAAP and other stuff I can’t na remember. Basta alam ko lang, we were super laughing and we can’t even believe all of us are lawyers already. Az in. Hard to believe…a bunch of crazy freaks who transformed the Spiral private room into a photo booth are actually lawyers! Kaloka!

I super had fun!

Happy Happy Birthday to

Mommy Iya (26 September), Bej and Pat (30 September).
